Fort Stevenson State Park

Among the state's most popular attractions, this 549 acre park is located on the tip of a peninsula between two bays on the North Shore of beautiful Lake Sakakawea. Visitors will find a modern campground, cabins, visitor center, year-round events, interpretive trails and prairie dog town, as well as boat launching facilities.

Featuring 20 camper pads with electricity, water, and sewer located in the Garrison City Northview Trailer Court.  Weekly and monthly rental available; playground equipment and garbage collection available.  Managed by the City of Garrison.

Overlooking the shores of Good Bear Bay, this full facility campground and lodging resort includes Arrowhead Lodge, NEW: 3 Condos & Captain's Cabin, and 4 Log Camping Cabins.  More than 50 modern RV sites as well as primitive also available.  Boat ramp, courtesy dock, fish cleaning station, RV Dump Station, shower houses, picnic tables, grills, and Shoreline Day Use Area.

Totten Trail Motel & RV Sites

Located near Lake Audubon, Totten Trail features 12 RV full service sites and 4 units in the motel.  Seasonal options available for RV sites.  Motel accommodations include a wet bar, refrigerator, and TV.  Located near the Totten Trail Bar & Grill.

Bayside Property Rentals

2 S of Garrison on County Rd 15

Bayside Property Rentals features 11 units that include a full kitchen, bathrooms, living rooms, and bedrooms. A laundry facility, door front & boat parking, outside electric plug-ins are also available. 6 Units are available for daily & weekly rentals; 5 available by monthly rentals.

East Totten Trail Campground

6 E, 3 S from Garrison; right off of Hwy 83.

Seasonal (May 1-September 30)

On the shores of Lake Audubon, this campground offers 30 modern campsites and 10 primitive campsites that are first-come. Boat ramp, courtesy dock, fish cleaning station, sewer/fill and dump station, restroom vault, drinking water, picnic tables, grills, and Shoreline Day Use Area.  Managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Sportsmen's Centennial

5 East, 3 South, & 1 West of Garrison

Seasonal (May 1-Sept 15)

On the shores of Lake Sakakawea, this campground offers 97 campsites (primitive, modern, seasonal).  Convenience store, boat ramp, playground equipment, fish cleaning station, picnic shelters, showers & bathrooms, and swim beach.  Managed by the McLean County Park Board.

Douglas Creek Recreation Area

11 W, 8 S of Garrison


Offering easy access to Lake Sakakawea, this campground and recreation area is free to the public and offers 20 spacious campsites.  Campground consists of primitive sites, picnic tables, grills, vault restrooms, boat ramp, and courtesy dock.  Managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers.

Steinke Bay Recreation Area

3 E, 2 S of Garrison


Recreation area located near de Trobriand Game Management Area featuring only primitive camping, boat ramp & dock, fire pits, and vault toilets.

Garrison Motel Cabins

Themed to reflect North Dakota's wildlife, each cabin offers sleeping for 4-6 people comfortably and 2 bedrooms, a loft, and kitchen.  Additional amentities include a gas grill, Wifi Access, vehicle & boat parking.

Sakakawea RV Park

Along Highway 37


Full service RV Park with approximately 70 sites with both pull-through and back-in spaces.  All sites equipped with water, sewer, and electricity.  Fully heated hydrant sites available for use during the winter season.

Stoney Hill RV Park

Along Highway 37

Close to town, Stoney Hill RV Park has 26 full service RV hook-ups.  Bath house, game room, and DSL internet access also available.
