Garrison Chamber of Commerce

The Garrison Chamber of Commerce provides community leadership and networking between business leaders in the community.  They sponsor the First Dollar of Business promotion, shop local campaign, local welcome wagon packet, are the power behind projects like the City Park bandstand, and organize events held throughout the year.  Along with their semi-monthly meetings, they also offer opportunity to join a sub-committee that each have a different focus and meet monthly.

The organization's membership roster is made up of local businesses and non-profit groups.  They meet the first and third Monday of every month and usually have 25 to 30 members in attendance for the catered lunch meetings.

Members can sign up to work on a variety of sub-committees that include:

  • Executive Committee – meets twice a month, opposite of regular chamber meetings (Noon, ND Fire Museum/CVB) as the lead committee for the group.
  • Community Relations – meets with guests to facilitate discussions and  improvements between the City of Garrison, the community, state national groups and organizations such as City Council, Park Board, State Legislators, County Sheriff, etc.,  and our surrounding trade area.  To assist in maintaining, proving, and promoting these area improvements.  To serve as a liaison between local groups and the Chamber of Commerce who have similar goals and missions.
  • Trade Promotion Committee – meets monthly (Noon, ND Firefighter's Museum/ CVB) with its own projects designed to enhance and promote local retail businesses. These include Lunch with the Easter Bunny, Aw Shucks Corn Fest, Homecoming parade and the Harvest Market on Main.
