Among the state's most popular attractions, this 549 acre park is located on the tip of a peninsula between two bays on the North Shore of beautiful Lake Sakakawea. Visitors will find a modern campground, cabins, visitor center, year-round events, interpretive trails and prairie dog town, as well as boat launching facilities.

Relax with a picnic, enjoy a walk on the new path, or just listen to the birds sing in the serenity of Garrison’s Wilderness Park. A playground is located nearby and an 18 hole disc golf course is within the park. Picnic shelters & enclosed shelter are available.

Home of Wally the Walleye, Garrison City Park is located at the top of Main Street. Two sets of playground equipment, picnic tables, shelter, bathroom facilities, and bandstand make this park the center of fun and entertainment. Picnic shelter and bandstand are available to rent for gatherings.

Join in a game of tennis at our newly added tennis courts located in the North West corner of Garrison next to the swimming pool. Must bring your own tennis equipment.

Rip-it-up on the many surfaces available at the Garrison Skating Rink. One block east of the Elementary School.

Challenge yourself at this 18- Hole Disc Golf Course located in Wilderness Park. Must bring your own Disc Golf equipment.

Home of the Troopers, the GHS Football field consists of a new press box, bleachers, & concession stand.  A 1/4 mile asphalt track allows the opportunity for people to enjoy walking or running.

This State of the Art Baseball field is home to the Titans Legion Baseball team whose comprised of players from Garrison, Max, and Central McLean County.  The Legion field includes a batting cage, scoreboard, public address system, concession building with bathrooms, bleachers with shade structure, and a sod infield.

The Don Gackle Field of Dreams is home to the Summer Rec. ball programs including t-ball, peewee, little league, and Babe Ruth.  The Tennis Courts and Swimming Pool are nearby.

Enjoy a game of softball at these two fields located just outside of Garrison.

Enjoy getting outdoors at the Bob Callies Elementary School Playground!  The playground consists of multiple outdoor basketball courts and a full line of playground equipment.
